Outwith the hotel, Ted's tour is a must to see the island, and we took a catamaran trip and saw turtles and stingrays, to name but 2. Moving on, the bar staff, the comedy duo of Dwain and Keith kept us entertained as did a range of music and dancing after dinner. The food when it arrives is delicious, perhaps as I have read a self service buffet at breakfast would help if restored. However, the kitchen really is a shambles, it needs a major overhaul as waiting times of over a n hour for some meals is unacceptable in today's catering needs. We were luck to have Seema as our waitress for many of the evenings and she ensure excellent table service. So far so good, it actually gets better, the staff were outstanding, all bar a n evening supervisor who was shall we say 'grumpy at times.
the balcony is large for 2 people to sit out comfortably and enjoy the stunning vista out over the beach and beyond. The rooms was comfortable, a tad dated but functional including free safe and cooking facilities if you were to self cater. On arrival all was very smooth, we were allocated room 90, on the top floor, not really suitable for anyone with a walking difficulty, go for the second level, the beach view will still be outstanding. I appreciate my review is subjective and I have tried to avoid duplicating previous comments but some overlap is inevitable. I have just returned from what can only be described asa stunning beach holiday at the Coconut Court hotel.
